UV-1164
UV-1164 is a low-volatility triazine light stabilizer and UV absorber supplied by Sigmak for polymer applications (product code SIG-UV-020). It is not marketed or supplied as a cosmetic or sunscreen ingredient.
A hydroxyphenyl-triazine structure with an octyloxy substituent absorbs UV radiation while resisting volatilization out of the polymer matrix during processing and service life.
