Bemotrizinol (BEMT) — CAS 187393-00-6 | UV Filter Supplier

CAS 187393-00-6

Broad-spectrum UV-A and UV-B filter that supports photostability in multi-filter systems.

Overview

Bemotrizinol

Bemotrizinol (Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, BEMT) is an oil-soluble broad-spectrum UV filter in Sigmak’s UV portfolio (product code SIG-UV-008).

A triazine core carrying two phenol arms absorbs strongly across both UV-A and UV-B, with high molar extinction allowing efficient protection at relatively low use levels.
